Dràkon Mead: the drink of the Gods reimagined for a modern audience
Mead is a very ancient beverage, whose recipe is lost in time. Its composition includes a must of water and honey.
Traces of this product have been found since the time of the ancient Egyptians, and it is referred to as the first alcoholic beverage ever produced by man.
Over the centuries, Mead has been called Ambrosia or the drink of the Gods, with recipes varying depending on the place of production, as in ancient times this drink was further flavored with local herbs and fruits.
Since 2017, Dràkon Mead has been bringing the tradition of mead back to life with small-batch artisanal production, ensuring care and dedication in every bottle. Founded by the couple Ailis and Tarvos, united by their passion for fantastic creatures and folklore, Dràkon is inspired by the dragon—a legendary creature found in cultures worldwide—to create meads that celebrate myths and traditions with a modern touch.
